In 2002 Amber Victor, founder and president of VictorDev, received the SPAWAR Lighting Bolt Award presented by Rear Adm. Kenneth Slaught of the Department of Defense, for creating the first ever Navy application that pulled data from a Web-enabled database to create PowerPoint Presentations and deliver them directly to the user's Web browser.

Our latest technology has been carefully refined to work with any database type, any web environment and made to look exactly like any template you can dish out. Your end users do not need licensed copies of MS Office to view and print the generated documents. Users who have Microsoft Office installed on their machines can edit the generated files and enjoy all of the applications features as though they created the documents themselves.

We produce a real Microsoft Office document, not an xml or html version.

Our recommended RDBMS includes both MS SQL Server and Oracle, MS Access can be used where the user count and demand on the server will be low. 

We can use the data in your existing database or build you a fresh custom application and database with all the robust features you desire and include our PowerPoint, Word or Excel creation functionality. You can host the finished product on your network or you can use our hosting services.

There is virtually no limit to the number of slides or complexity of the PowerPoint presentation, spreadsheets or documents we can produce.

There is absolutely no need to recreate the wheel each time a staff member needs to generate a  company approved presentation, document or spreadsheet.

How does Microsoft Office Automation work?

1. User enters records or data using a web-based application.

2. New records or updates are saved in your database (RDBMS). Just like any other dynamic web-based application.       

3. With a click of a button your users can download completed PowerPoint presentations, Word documents or Excel spreadsheets using templates customized for your business needs.

Depending on the security requirements of your business users can generate and access these dynamic documents from anywhere an internet connection is available or the document generation and download functionality can be based on user specific rights or hosted on your internal network only.
